TVR 1

TVR 1 (Romanian: Română Televiziunea 1 ) is the primary public television station in Romania, which belongs to Televiziunea Română. The most important mission of the television station called Jurnalul TVR, the motto of the program is ( German: " The news, as they should be " ) " Jurnalul ASA cum ar trebui să fie ". This saying originated in deliberate distinction to the allegedly poor quality newscasts other Romanian TV station.

TVR 1 transmits weekly magazines in Hungarian ( Kronika ) and German language (accents and magazine în limba Engleză ) with Romanian subtitles for minorities in Romania. Both programs are transmitted in two times a month worldwide on TVR International.
