Twin Falls County, Idaho

Twin Falls County is a county located in the state of Idaho in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Twin Falls.

Geography

The County is located in southern Idaho, bordering Nevada and has an area of ​​4995 square kilometers, of which nine square kilometers of water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Gooding County, Jerome County, Cassia County, Owyhee County and Elmore County. The south of the county is dominated by the Basin and Range region. History

Twin Falls County was formed on February 21, 1907 from parts of Cassia County. It was named after the waterfalls of the Snake River.
