Twin Lakes (Alaska)

The Twin Lakes are a complex of two large lakes in the Lake Clark National Park in south central Alaska, near the town of Port Alsworth. It contains an upper and a smaller lower lake from which the Chilikadrotna River rises. The two lakes are connected by a river. The upper lake is about 9.7 km long and the lower about 6.5 km. The Twin Lakes are isolated and lonely. An exception is the late summer where the Twin Lakes are a popular hunting area. The lakes are situated at an altitude of 603 m.
