Twinkle (software)
Twinkle is a free software for IP telephony ( Voice over IP) and is licensed with the GNU General Public License ( GPL). In addition to the Session Initiation Protocol (hence SIP phone ) Twinkle uses a number of other protocols, but they are documented consistently freely and publicly. The surface uses the Qt library (library ).
Availability
Twinkle is included in many Linux distributions as a complete software package and can therefore usually install with just a few mouse clicks. The current version of Twinkle can be translated with little effort from the source code if necessary. A Windows version of Twinkle does not yet exist.
