Two-Mix

Two-Mix is a known in Japan J-pop duo consisting of Minami Takayama and Shiina Nagano.

The first hit of Two-Mix Just Communication was the title song to the anime series Gundam Wing, which was published on April 29 in Japan in 1995 as a single and ushered in the successful career of Two-Mix. Until 31 December 1998, followed in collaboration with King Records 12 singles and 9 albums. On 26 December 1998, the single was released Truth - A Great Detective of Love from Detective Conan, Warner Music Japan, where Two-Mix was from 1 January 1999 until they moved to Little Station 2003.

The name Two-Mix comes not only from the fact that the group consists of two (two ) members. Two mix is ​​also a term of art in the music, which is used when a plurality of channels are combined to form two (left and right). In Two-Mix is similar: the whole work ( compose, write lyrics, sing, etc.) is made of two people.

2008 Nagano launched under the name ShiinaTactix a solo project with guest singers Sanae Kobayashi, Yōko Hikasa and Mutsumi Tamura.

In 2009 they came together again for a short time and produced the Double-A Single Lightning Evolution / I'm Yours, which appeared in Self Publishing for the label ShiinaTactix Music: from 28 July 2009 as download and from the short time from 20th to August 24th, 2009 also on CD by order.

May 1, 2012, both announced in November again want to share a Two-Mix.

Members

Minami Takayama (born Izumi Arai ) was born on May 5, 1964 in Tokyo, Japan. Outside the band, she is a well-known seiyū ( voice actor ). Within the duo she assumes, in addition to arrangement and composition, the vocal part. On 5 May 2005 she married the artist of Detective Conan, Gosho Aoyama, in which she speaks anime of the same name starring role. On 10 December 2007 Japanese newspapers reported that the two are divorced.

Shiina Nagano (born Yoshiki Makino ) was born on November 11, 1964 in Kumamoto, Japan. His duties as a duo are, in addition to arrangement and composition, the keyboard and the letter of the texts. Furthermore, Nagano is the leader of the duo, though by many fans Takayama is seen in this position.
