Ty Lawson

Tywon "Ty " Ronell Lawson ( born November 3, 1987 in Clinton, Maryland ) is an American professional basketball player. He was elected to the NBA Draft 2009, 18 out of the Minnesota Timberwolves and transferred directly to the Denver Nuggets, where he plays since then. Before that he played at the University of North Carolina and was awarded the title of the ACC Player of the Year. He was the first point guard since 1978, who received this award.

High School

Ty Lawson first visited the Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland. He later moved to Oak Hill Academy in Virginia.
