Ty Templeton

Ty Templeton ( born May 9, 1962) is a Canadian comic book writer and signatory.

Life and work

Templeton, son of Charles Templeton Canadian entertainer and brother of the Internet pioneer Brad Templeton, began to operate as a professional comic book writer in the early 1990s. Getting attention has been given to him for appearing at Vortex Comics series Stig 's Inferno, a parody of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Since then he has worked primarily for the two leading U.S. comic publishers DC Comics and Marvel Comics, and for Bongo Comics.

While numerous stories of popular also and especially in Germany comic adaptation of the animated series The Simpsons wrote for Bongo Comics and illustrated, he designed for DC diverse issues of on the animated series Batman: based The Animated Series by Paul Dini comic series The Batman Adventures. He also worked for DC on a special on the satirical superhero Plastic Man (1998) and created a graphic novel, Big Time, which appeared at DCs Adult Reader label Vertigo.

Currently, Templeton writes copy that appears in the self- founded and headed by him, Mr. publishing comics series Planet of the Apes.
