Tyholt Tunnel

Tyholttunnelen (German Tyholttunnel ) is a 2,760 -meter-long railway tunnel in Trondheim. The construction of the tunnel began during the Second World War by the German Wehrmacht in order to have a detour route in Trondheim available. Officially, the tunnel was put into operation but only with the view of traffic on the railway line Stavne - Leangen 1957.
