Tyler Ennis

Tyler Ennis ( born October 6, 1989 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player in the position of left winger who stands since 2009 with the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Ennis played during his junior time for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League, with whom he won the 2007 championship. NHL Entry Draft 2008, he was selected in the first round at a total of 26 out of the Buffalo Sabres. He remained at first but in the junior league. On February 27, 2009 Ennis scored in a 6-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders all six goals for his team. He missed the previous WHL record by only one goal.

His debut in the National Hockey League he gave on November 14, 2009 in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers, in which he also scored his first goal. Nevertheless, the Sabres sent him after the game back to the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League, where he spent most of the rest of the season before he was brought to the end of March to Buffalo, where he spent the rest of the season. At the end of the AHL season 2009/10, the striker the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award as the best won AHL Rookie of the season. As the NHL season 2010/11 Ennis belonged to the tribe of the Buffalo Sabres squad. For the NHL All -Star Game in 2011, he was nominated as one of twelve rookies who participated in the Honda NHL Super Skills Competition. The offensive player ended his rookie season in the National Hockey League with 20 goals and 49 points scorer. In addition, he scored in the following seven play-off games Buffalos four points.

In the subsequent season Tyler Ennis missed due to two separate injuries on his left ankle 34 games and finished the season with 34 points in 48 games.

For the duration of the lockout in the 2012/13 NHL season, the striker has been committed by the Swiss Club SCL Tigers in September 2012.

Internationally

In the U20 World Junior Championships 2009, he won the Canadian national team before a home crowd in Ottawa the gold medal.
