Tyler Weiman

Tyler Weiman ( born June 5, 1984 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since March 2012 at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

The 1.80 m wide goalie began his career with the Tri -City Americans in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League before he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 as a 164 in the fifth round by the Colorado Avalanche.

First, the left catcher at the Colorado Eagles was used in the Central Hockey League, with whom he 2005 the Ray Miron President's Cup, the championship of the minor league won. During the season 2005/ 06 Weiman shuttled between the San Diego Gulls of the ECHL and the Lowell Lock Monsters, a farm team of the avalanche in the American Hockey League. His NHL debut in Tyler Weiman on 4 October 2007 against the Nashville Predators as a substitute goalkeeper Peter Budaj of the root. The remainder of the 2007/ 08 spent the Canadians at the Lake Erie Monsters in the AHL. In the following two seasons he was the goalkeeper between the posts for the Monsters and formed intermittently along with Jason Bacashihua a Torwartduo.

In July 2010, he signed as a free agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks. This put him in the 2010/11 season in the farm team for the Manitoba Moose in which he was the second goalkeeper behind Eddie Laeck operating time. For the 2011/12 season he was bound by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. On March 28, 2012 Weiman signed with the Nuremberg Ice Tigers for the 2012/13 DEL Season.
