The Tyrode's solution is a solution of electrolytes in physiological composition in water. The name comes from the American pharmacologist Maurice Vejux Tyrode ( born November 6, 1878 in Besançon, † 1930) back.

Use
The Tyrode's solution is used in cell and tissue culture as a diluent. In veterinary medicine, it can be used in renal disease as drinking water replacement, such as budgies.
The Tyrode's solution is three to four days in the refrigerator for storage.
