Biography
Life
U -Jean was born in Atlanta in the U.S., where he grew up with his father, who was a well-known gospel singer there. After high school he decided to come to Germany as a U.S. soldier. Shortly after settling in Darmstadt, he decided to audition in Schwetzingen in the U.S. Europe Soldier Show. Then began U -Jean his career as a singer, with over 200 performances per year across Europe, as well as an ambassador of American music and culture in Europe.
In June 2008, he decided to leave the army to pursue his career in Germany as a singer.
2008-2010: Musical beginnings
He began his career as a singer in the band Sweet Soul Music Revue. U -Jean occurs not only as a hip -hop and R & B singer in appearance, but also as a producer and songwriter. He also joined with the Frankfurt King Kamehameha tape to tape.
In early 2010, U -Jean founded with his producer - partner, the music production company Whazz Crackin Productions. It consists of an international group of young, talented producers and songwriters who write similar to a record label songs for new musicians, compose, produce and mix. 2011: Breakthrough in Zooland Records
In 2011 he signed a contract with Zooland Records. Shortly thereafter, on 17 June 2011, he released his debut single Heaven Is a Place on Earth. The song was recorded together with the German rapper Carlprit. He could, however, do not reach the charts.

In December 2011, his second single was released with RIO. It is called Animal. The song could rise in Germany at # 48 in Austria and 33 in Switzerland at number 51. Many critics of the single with the song Levels of Avicii is compared. But Zooland Records took made no comment.
2012: That Girl & Summer Jam
On June 11, 2012 appeared on the record label Kontor Records the single That Girl in which he participated as guest musician with Mischa Daniels. The song has already been aboard after a week in the German singles chart, reaching number 95 there, but already rose after a week off.
His fifth single Summer Jam was released on July 27, 2012. The title is a cover of the song of the same name by The Underdog Project from the year 2000. During this song he looked again at the German Dance Project RIO with. On the same day, the official music video was released. Just one week after the release of the song climbed into the Top 10 of the German Media Control Charts and reached there in seventh place. Even in Switzerland, Summer Jam was able to place and was a debut at No. 2 next to Turn This Club Around the second single which made it into the Top 3. In Austria it was the first single that made it to the top three places and rose again to number 2. Since 2012 he is the face of R.I.O. on their live performances.
2013: collaboration with DJ Antoine & R.I.O.
2013 appeared DJ Antoine album Sky Is the Limit on which he participated as a singer and songwriter of several songs. He sang the title You and Me, House Party and Give It Up for Love participated. House Party rose, although it did not appear as a single, after one week as an album track in the charts of Germany and Austria.
On May 10, 2013 appeared in renewed cooperation with RIO Single Ready or Not. On iTunes, the track went straight into the top 100 song charts. Also in the German singles chart success was not long.
