UAO-DLR Asteroid Survey

UDAS (short for UAO - DLR Asteroid Suvey, with UAO stands for Uppsala Astronomical Observatory and DLR for German Centre for Aerospace ) is the name for an asteroid search program for 1999 from the Uppsala Astronomical Observatory in cooperation with the Institute planetary Research DLR is operated. Using a 50 kilometers south of Uppsala Observatory Kvistaberg stationed 1m Schmidt telescope so far were (as of early 2005) about 350 asteroids discovered ( including a low-earth orbit object).

UDAS (besides ADAS ) a successor program of the ODAS - sky monitoring, which had to be discontinued due to budget cuts in 1999.
