UB Conquense

The Unión Balompédica Conquense is a Spanish football club based in Cuenca, in the autonomous community of Castile -La Mancha. The club was founded in 1946 and plays its home matches at the Estadio La Fuensanta, which offers space for 3,500 spectators.

History

The club was founded in 1946 and played its first season in the Tercera División, which at that time was still the third Spanish league. UB Conquense could rarely earn top rankings and increased frequency of departures in the regional leagues. For the 1987/88 season could be in the Segunda División, founded in between time, ascend B, but went straight off again for the first time. Until the 1997/98 season, the club plays again viertklassig, but could then return to the Segunda División B ascend and keep up on the 2006/07 season, where a subsequent descent into the Tercera División was that class.
