Ubiratan Pereira Maciel ( born January 18, 1944 in São Paulo, † July 17, 2002 in Brasília ) was a Brazilian basketball player.

Playing on the position of the center, he won the Brazilian Cup 1963-1981 a total of eleven Brazilian championships and five times. He became internationally known mainly for his appearances at Olympic Games and World Championships. He led the Brazilian national basketball team on winning the World Cup in 1963 and winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in 1964. During the Basketball World Championship 1967 his team was able to win the bronze in 1970 and silver medal. In the Basketball World Championship 1978 resubmitted for a bronze medal. In Pan American Games he won a silver and two bronze medals.

In 2010, Maciel was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
