Ubud Monkey Forest

The Ubud Monkey Forest ( Mandala Wisata '' Padangtegal Wanara Wana '' ) is a small nature park with the Pura Dalem Agung Hindu temple Padangtegal in Ubud in Bali.

The park is approximately one-tenth square kilometers and is home to about 115 species of trees and inhabited by long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis ), and visited every month by about 10,000 tourists. In the forest there is a sacred spring and other temples in which, for example, the deceased are cremated ceremonial.
