The Río Uces at Masueco

The Rio Uces is an approximately 50 km long left tributary of the Duero. It rises in the mountains of the province of Salamanca in Castilla - León, first flows west, then north through the granite rocks shaped by nature Park Arribes del Duero and discharges about five kilometers west of Pereña de la Ribera in the Duero.

Tributaries and reservoirs

Apart from a few streams that often dry out in summer and autumn, the river has no major tributaries. The unregulated and largely unspoiled river is dammed at any point.

Attractions

Scenery and places on both sides of the unregulated river offer many attractive aspects, which are mainly used in the early spring to advantage.
