The Unión Deportiva Vecindario is a Spanish football club from the town of Vecindario, Gran Canaria. The club was founded in 1962 playing in the 2008/ 09 season in the Segunda División B, Group 2
History
The Unión Deportiva Vecindario was founded in 1962 and played for a long time in unterklassigen Spanish amateur leagues. In the 2000/2001 season, the surprising jump in the Segunda División B succeeded, the third Spanish league. Already in the 2005/2006 season Vecindario rose in the second highest Spanish football league, the Segunda División. In the first qualifying matches of FC Cartagena was off with 2:2 / 1:0 before one against Levante B the ascent was perfect with a 2:0 / 2:1.
On September 3, 2006 Vecindario was the first victory of his second league history to celebrate with a 4-2 win against CD Castellón. At the end of the season Vecindario rose still far behind as Table despite great comeback after a year again.

Vecindario plays in the Municipal de Vecindario, which has a capacity of 4,500 spectators.
