Udayana University

The Udayana University ( Indonesian: Universitas Udayana, Unud short ) is a public university in Denpasar in Indonesia. It was founded in 1962 and named after the Indian philosopher Udayana; it existed as part of the University of Airlangga since 1958. On a total of three campuses 18,000 students are taught.

Organization

The Unud is powered by a Steering Committee, which consists of the President and four Vice-Presidents, passed. It is divided into ten departments:

  • Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
  • Faculty of Economics
  • Faculty of Animal Husbandry
  • Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
  • Faculty of Literature
  • Faculty of Engineering

  • Faculty of Social and Political Science

Campus

Nias was the original campus of Udayana University. Featured is this campus by the statue of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, should be in the monument of love, science and technology. It is currently the location of the faculties of literature and continuing education programs, such as the master and the promotion of cultural studies.

The campus Sudirman is located in the heart of Denpasar, close to the main attractions of the city and part of medical school. Sudirman has grown in the number of students and the equipment and includes the GDLN, an information and communication engineering controls.

Built in 1986, the campus Bukit Jimbaran is one of the relatively new and today is the largest of the three Udayana campus. It is designed as a city, as are featured in a university hospital, sports center, post office and a restaurant as well as the University Library. The campus is located within reach of the Ngurah Rai International Airport.
