Uddheden

Uddheden is a locality ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County, the historical province of Värmland.

The village in the municipality of Sunne belonged until 1971 to the municipality Grasmark, which was incorporated by the municipality reform. As before Uddheden is the capital of the parish ( Församling ) Grasmark.

Uddheden has a church, a school, a local museum and a home for the elderly. In the village there is a sports club, Gräsmarks GOIF. In Uddheden represented economic sectors are agriculture and forestry, a heating plant, and tourism. In addition, there are basic services, such as retail, a post office and a bank.
