Udo Gelhausen

Udo Gelhausen ( born July 5, 1956 in Cochem ) is a former German shot putter.

In 1982 he finished seventh in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Milan and failed at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in qualifying.

In 1986 he finished seventh at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid and eighth at the European Championships in Stuttgart.

The following year he finished seventh at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 1987 in Indianapolis and retired at the IAAF World Championships in Rome in the first round.

In 1982 he became German champion in 1983, 1986 and 1987, German Vice Champion. In the hall he won three national titles (1984, 1985, 1987 ) and was runner-up four times (1982, 1983, 1986, 1988 ).

Udo Gelhausen launched for the LG Bayer Leverkusen.
