UEFA Euro 1972 qualifying

At the qualification for Euro 1972 in Belgium, 32 national teams which were divided into eight groups involved. The group winners played in the run-up to the final round of quarter -finals with a return game.

The qualifiers were conducted in 1970 and 1971. The quarter-finals were held in April and May 1972.
