UEFA Euro 1980 qualifying
The qualifying for the European Football Championship 1980 in Italy, 31 national teams which were divided into seven groups involved. The group winners qualify automatically for the finals, which was first played with 8 teams and the hosts for the first time, the Italian national football team qualified automatically. The qualifiers were performed in the years 1978 and 1979.
