UEFA Futsal Cup

The UEFA Futsal Cup, officially UEFA Futsal Cup, is a swept every year since 2001 under the auspices of UEFA futsal tournament for club teams. Open to the champion of the national associations, as well as the defending champion. The tournament replaced the held since 1984 Futsal European Clubs Championship, which was not recognized by the European umbrella organization.

The final of the UEFA Futsal Cup 2001/ 02 played in a game between 2002 and 2006 with return game, and since the 2006/07 season finally as a Final Four tournament.

The winner of the competition will qualify for the competition organized by FIFA Futsal World Cup.

The University Futsal Club Münster qualified as the first German club team for the UEFA Futsal Cup ( season 2006/ 07). In the preliminary round of the German representatives reached a draw against the Austrian representative (USC Eugen village ), another draw and a defeat. In the final table, Münster finished third, but missed the next round. USC Eugendorf (A ) finished with one point last place in the group.

In the 2007 /08 season Germany was represented by FV Eppelborn in Group C, Switzerland by Uni Futsal Team Bulle in group A and Austria by Stella Rossa tipp3 in Group D. Stella Rossa was also the host in the group D. Stella Rossa missed with two wins and one defeat just move up to the main round. FV Eppelborn failed to reach a point in Group A, Uni Futsal Club Bull, however, could say goodbye with a win in the final match of the competition.
