Ueli Kestenholz

Ueli Kestenholz ( born May 10, 1975 in Thun ) is a Swiss snowboarder and extreme sports.

In the ISF Snowboard World Cup in 1995 in Davos, he won the bronze medal. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano he won bronze in the giant slalom. He is also a two-time ISF World Champion 2000 and 2001 and won at the X Games in 2003 and 2004 respectively in the Gold Boarder -X. He could get a total of 14 World Cup victories in his career.

After his third Olympic Games in Turin in 2006 Ueli decided henceforth to focus on freeriding, film and photo projects. With his friend Mathias Roten 2007 he launched the project Play Gravity. As a highlight of this multi-award -winning multi-sport film applies the Speed ​​ride driving on the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. He currently lives in Thun.
