Uelitz

Uelitz is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Ludwigslust country located in the not office belonging Ludwiglust.

Geography and transport

History

The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1218. This year, the county Schwerin sold the village to the Cistercian monastery Reinfeld in Holstein. Through the Reformation in the 16th century, the village came under the jurisdiction of the Dukes of Mecklenburg ( Domanium ). The village church, built in 1745/54 using medieval building material, is a one-nave, flat roofed brick building with a polygonal Ostschluss.
