Ueno (Gunma)

Ueno (Jap.上野村, -mura ) is a village on the main Japanese island of Honshu in the district Tano in Gunma prefecture.

History

Near the village in 1985 in a plane crash in which 520 people were killed, among them the Japanese singer and actor Kyū Sakamoto occurred.
