Ufuk Ceylan ( born June 23, 1986 in Izmir) is a Turkish football goalkeeper.
Sports career
Ufuk Ceylan began his career in the youth team of Altay Izmir. In the season 2004/2005 he was given a professional contract. After he brought excellence in Altay, the then first division side Manisaspor noticed him and signed him up for winter break 2006/2007. In his first season he was only the second goalkeeper, brought it to 16 but still inserts in the Turkcell Süper Lig the subsequent decline in the Bank Asya 1 Lig but he could not prevent. But in the second league, he then came to more missions and became the first-choice goalkeeper. Also in the 2008/2009 season he performed well, which were instrumental for the rise. Shortly before the end of the transfer window Ufuk moved to Galatasaray Istanbul and signed a five-year contract.
In the 4th round of the Turkish Cup 2013/14 held Ceylan in a penalty shootout against Gaziantep BB four penalties and thus secured his team the next round.
National
Ufuk Ceylan graduated seven games for the Turkish U- 21 team. In 2009, he was first appointed to the Turkish national team, but did not play.
