Uganda Communications Commission

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC ) is the national regulatory authority for telecommunications in Uganda based in Kampala. Your goals are supervision as well as promotion of the communications sector in Uganda. She is responsible among others for the allocation of frequencies.

It was established in 1997 on the basis of Chapter 106 of the Uganda Communications Act. The seven -member commission is headed by the Chairman and Managing Director. Currently holds this position A. M. S. Katahoire.
