The watch head, also called watches a mountain, is an approximately 405 m above sea level. NN high hill on Lake Eder in the Natural Park basement Edersee in northern Hesse Waldeck- Frankenberg. Geographically, it belongs to the main unit Keller forest.

Geographical location

The watch head is located in the northeast part of the Natural Park basement Edersee between the Waldecker core city in the north and Hemfurth- Edersee (part of Eder ) in the southwest. Its highest peak is about 350 meters east of the north end of the " Eder Dam ", the dam of Edersees. North-north- west, the pulpit ( 399.3 m) closes with another viewpoint and southeast of the head Michel ( 424.7 m).
