Uijeongbu

Uijeongbu ( Kor. 의정부 ) is a city in the South Korean province of Gyeonggi -do. It borders to the west and north Yangju, on the north by Pocheon, to the east by Namyangju and on the south by the capital Seoul.

As the city between Seoul and the nearby border is with North Korea, many Korean and American bases are in defense of the capital in this area. The 2nd Infantry Division has its headquarters here, the bulk of the troops, however, is stationed in Dongducheon.

The city is also friends with Shibata in Japan since 2 November 1989.

Uijeongbu is divided into 15 dong, which in turn are divided into 448 Tong, which are ultimately divided into 2647 Ban. The Dong are:
