The Ulba (Russian Ульба ) is a right tributary of the Irtysh River in Kazakhstan.

The origin of the river is located in multiple source streams in the Altai Mountains. Receives the name of the river after the unification of the largest source of these streams, the northern and the southern Tichaja Grammatucha.

Cities along the river are Berezovka and Öskemen where the river flows into the Irtysh.

Hydrology

The river has a catchment area of ​​4990 km ². The average discharge of the year 1965-1984 is about 97 m³ / s (according to other sources 100 m³ / s).

Pollution

The Ulba is one of the most polluted rivers in the catchment area of the Irtysh. Pollution especially zinc and copper, due to mining.
