Ulf Hielscher

Ulf Hielscher ( born November 30, 1967 in Neubrandenburg ) is a retired German bobsledder. It was 1995 European Champion and World Champion.

Ulf Hielscher was originally hurdler at SC Neubrandenburg. After he had achieved more success, he moved to Oberhof bobsleigh. 1994 Ulf Hielscher German champion controlled by Wolfgang Hoppe Bobsled with Axel Kuehn and Carsten Embach. At the Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer René Hannemann was for Axel Kühn here. Hoppe, Hielscher, Hannemann and Embach received the bronze medal behind by Harald Czudaj and Gustav Neither controlled bobs. The following year, Hoppe, Hielscher, Hannemann and Embach won both at the European Championships in Altenberg, as well as at the World Cup in Winterberg, was second in each of the Austrian Hubert châteaux with his team, third, respectively Harald Czudaj. 1996 occupied Hoppe, Hielscher, Hannemann and Embach at the European Championships in St. Moritz, ranked second behind Christoph Langen.
