Majuro is a motu in the east of Majuro Atoll, the Pacific Islands Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Geography

The island is bordered to the north and west to Darrit Delap. Between Majuro and Delap are currently two smaller islands belonging to Delap, Biggariat and Eniligere. Together with its neighboring islands of Majuro is the compression chamber " Delap - Majuro Darrit ". the capital of the Marshall Islands, Majuro, covers the entire atoll.

1988 had the place or district Majuro 2144 inhabitants in an area of 0.293 km ² ( 29.3 hectares). The islands of Darrit in the north to Enirak in the west are linked by a continuous roadway. The causeway was built during World War II from coral fragments; the road was fixed later.

Majuro Majuro is the seat of the Court House and the exile government evacuated the Rongelap atolls and bikini.
