The Ülker Sports Arena ( Complete name: Fenerbahçe Ülker Sports Arena Uluslararası Spor Kompleksi, German Fenerbahçe Ülker International Sports Complex Sports Arena ) is a multi-purpose arena in the district Ataşehir the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul.

The arena with up to 15,000 seats and 44 luxury boxes was largely financed by the main sponsor of the Mr. Basketball team Yıldız Holding and therefore bears the name Ülker. Currently, only the club Fenerbahçe Ülker uses the hall. The hall holds 13,500 people at sporting events and for training purposes has a second smaller hall (capacity: 2,500 ). The plot is 67.000m2 large and has six large and five small dressing rooms. The hall is also used for concerts. Under the hall roof, a 28.5 -ton video cube is related to four LED Anzegetafeln with a total of 250 m2.

Construction and completion

The plot in Ataşehir bought Fenerbahce president Aziz Yıldırım. The design comes from the Design Development Group in cooperation with Ömerler Architecture, and the financial assistance was provided by the main sponsor of Yıldız Holding Herrenbasketballmannschft, so that in 2008 the construction of the arena began.

On 25 January 2012, the arena in advance of the ULEB Turkish Airlines Euro League match Fenerbahçe Ülker was opened against EA7 - Emporio Armani Milano. The first official basket scored Fenerbahçe Marko Tomas, by a two -point basket.
