Ulla-Britt Söderlund
Ulla- Britt Söderlund ( born August 12, 1943 in Växjö, Sweden, † 21 July 1985 in Copenhagen) was a Swedish costume designer who won an Oscar in 1976 for Best Costume Design.
Life
Ulla- Britt Söderlund began her career as a costume designer in the film industry in 1966 with the film Sult and worked until 1982 at the costume features 25 films.
At the Academy Awards in 1976 she won along with Milena Canonero the Oscar for Best Costume Design in Barry Lyndon (1975 ) Stanley Kubrick starring Ryan O'Neal, Marisa Berenson and Patrick Magee in the lead roles. At the same time they were Milena Canonero and nominated award for the best costumes for the British Academy Film.
