Ulli Bögershausen

Ulli (* 1954 in Brown Mountain ) is a German solo guitarist and guitar teacher. He has also become internationally known through tours of Japan, the U.S. and Taiwan, in 1995, published a series of solo CDs and has authored several textbooks for guitar. He is also a workshop instructor at home and abroad.

Bögershausen began at the age of nine, playing the guitar. He lives with his wife and son at the river Mosel near Trier, where he also runs a guitar school.

Ulli preferably, the steel-string guitar, the sharper tone separation complicated melody runs imparts greater transparency with rhythm patterns. The long decaying, singing tone of the instrument he uses like as a compositional element.
