Ulongué

Province

Ulongué (also Ulongwe ) is a municipality in the province of Tete in Mozambique. Until the independence of Mozambique was the resort of Vila Coutinho.

Geography

The city is the administrative center of the district Angonia and is located near the border with Malawi.

Population

Ulongué has about 27 697 inhabitants (estimate 2012).
