Ulric Guttinguer

Ulric Guttinguer (* January 31, 1785 in Rouen, † September 21, 1866 ) was a French writer.

Ulric Guttinguer ( pron. güttenggähr ) was one of the first older poets who transgressed open to the party of the Romantics; He was co-editor of La Muse française. His best work are the Mélanges poétiques (1824), which testify despite the romantic dependence Guttinguers of his teacher and friend Charles Millevoye. Besides other lyrical seals and journal articles also exist several novels by him.

Guttinguer was president of the Académie de Rouen.
