Ulrich Rippert

Ulrich Rippert (* 1951 in Munich) is a German journalist and chairman of the Socialist Equality Party ( PSG).

Rippert joined in 1969 during his apprenticeship as a machinist of the Trotskyist movement. In 1971 he was one of the founding members of the Federal Socialist Workers, the precursor of the PSG. In 1981, he played a leading role in the operation cast of VDM in Frankfurt am Main.

In his role as a journalist is Rippert member of the International Editorial Board of the World Socialist Web Site ( WSWS ), a website of the International Committee of the Fourth International. This committee is also part of the PSG. Rippert is the father of two daughters and lives in Berlin.
