Ulrika Maria Ågren ( born July 13, 1987 in Bankeryd ) is a Swedish handball player.

Career

Ågren started playing handball at IFK Bankeryd. As of 2003, the right-handed played with IF Hallby HK and moved three years later to BK Heid. In 2008, she joined IK Sävehof. With Sävehof won Ågren 2009 and 2010 the Swedish Championship. After the second championship success the district runner joined the Danish first division club Team Esbjerg. In the summer of 2012, she signed a contract with the league rivals Randers HK. Since the 2013/14 season it runs on for the German Bundesliga club SV Buxtehude.

Ågren played so far 47 games for Sweden, where they scored 71 hits. With Sweden they took 9th place at the World Cup 2011. In summer 2012, Ågren took part in the Olympic Games in London. At the European Championships 2012, she scored 14 goals in six games for the Swedish selection.
