Ulstein Group

The Ulstein Group ASA is a shipbuilding company in the Norwegian municipality in Ulsteinvik Fylke Møre og Romsdal.

History

The company was founded in 1917 by Martin Ulstein under the name " Ulstein mek. Verksted " and is still family-owned. The Ulstein Group has about 800 employees in nine countries. The company is headquartered Ulsteinvik and the main branch of the construction of supply vessels, buoy layers, as well as specialized vessels for research on the Ulstein shipyard. Among the previously around 300 ships built of Ulstein Shipyard also includes the Hurtigruten Polarlys.
