A film work from the Freikorps time (in Austria under the title storm days in 1919 released ) is a German feature film with Nazi - propaganda elements of 1934, in which the Freikorps be glorified. The film was produced by Arya Film GmbH and came on 28 December 1934 in the German cinemas.

Action

After the end of World War I reverse the front-line soldiers Hans, Fritz, Max and Girgl back to the Bavarian homeland. Girgl moves back to his farm, while Max connect and Fritz to " the Reds". However, Hans sees in Bolshevism a threat to Germany and joins the Freikorps. He had sought work, but had been rejected because he refused to join a party or a trade union. A short time later, the Munich Soviet Republic is proclaimed. The revolutionaries operate a Red Terror, proceed against the Freikorps. Hans Fritz and Max can capture, she will run, however. After they have learned that Fritz's family came in the struggles for life, they flee to Girgls yard. This takes them to live with him. A little later Girgl is arrested for aiding and abetting high treason and sentenced to six months probation. After his release, he met unexpectedly Hans and takes him to himself. Notify other comrades at the front with Hans that they were planning to emigrate, and trying to persuade him to go with them. Hans rejects this, however, since he is of the opinion that it need people to build Germany again.

Comments

In the movie there are several anti-Semitic remarks. For example, the communists led by Jews and incited them to commit crimes. In general, the Freikorps and the comradeship are presented as a precursor to the People's Cooperative.
