Um grande, grande amor

The 17th Festival da Canção (Portuguese Festival RTP da Canção 1980) was held on March 7, 1980 at the Teatro São Luiz in Lisbon. It served as a Portuguese finals for the Euro Vision Song Contest 1980.

Moderators of the consignment were Ana Zanatti and Eládio Clímaco.

The winner José Cid came out with the title To grande, grande amor. When Euro Vision Song Contest in The Hague, he received 71 points and finished at the end of the 7th Place.
