Particulars
The ship was built at the shipyard Universal Shipbuilding Corporation in Japan Maizuru. The keel-laying ceremony took place on 14 November 2005 on August 2, the launching. The completion of the vessel took place on 13 April 2006.

The ship, which has the DNV ice class ICE -15 is designed for the ride in polar waters. The special hull form, it has the ability to break thick ice up to 1.5 meters.

The ship has five cargo holds, which can be sealed with hydraulic hatch covers of McGregor. The grain area of the five rooms is 40 490 m³, the ball room 38 855 m³.
Three ship cranes are built for the independent of the port superstructure cargo handling. The cranes are amidships between Luke 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 4 and 5 Crane 1 has a capacity of 50 tonnes, crane 2 and 3 of 30 t.
