Umut Bulut ( born March 15, 1983 in Yeşilhisar in the province of Kayseri ) is a Turkish football player. He stands in July 2013 in Galatasaray under contract.
Career
In the club
In the summer of 2001 Umut Bulut received his first professional contract with the Turkish first division club MKE Ankaragucu. His professional debut, he celebrated in the Süper Lig on March 30, 2002 compared Gaziantepspor. The striker was able to assert himself until after he played on loan for the third division Inegölspor. Umut Bulut could be classified among the top 10 scorers of the Süper Lig in the 2005/06 season with 16 goals for the first time.

In the National Team
On 24 May 2007 Umut Bulut was appointed for the first time in the squad of the Turkish national team. He also made his debut on 5 June 2007 in a friendly against Brazil. On 2 June 2012, the Lisbon striker in his first goals celebrated in the Turkish A selection when countries friendly against Portugal by scoring two goals in a 3-1 win.
