UN Peacemaker

UN Peacemaker is a United Nations project to support international peace negotiations.

The UN Peacemaker portal provides information about peace treaties and the mandates in peacekeeping efforts available. The project also contains a database of the legal basis for peace negotiations. In addition, UN Peacemaker offers a Peacemaker 's Toolbox, advice, case studies, operational instructions and analysis of peace negotiations.

The information collected based on the experience of interviews that were conducted with UN staff and those involved in direct peace negotiations.

The online project started in October 2006 and is divided into the general efforts of the UN Department of Political Affairs ( DPA), a to support the UN Secretary General and his Special Envoy in resolving national and international conflicts.
