Unac River

Confluence of Unac and Una in Martin Brod

The Unac is a right tributary of the Una in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. It rises on the northern slope of the Šator Planina about 25 km southeast of Drvar from the 1488 m high altitude lake Satorsko Jezero and flows 66 km from the small town of Martin Brod near the Croatian border in the Una.

Behind Drvar flows through the Unac up to 350 m deep and impassable ravine between the mountains and Osječenica Vučjak. In Martin Brod fish farm uses water from the river. The Unac is popular for its clear water and rich in fish fly-fishing.

The catchment area of ​​Unac has an area of 650 km ².
