The burning neighbor is an American short film comedy of the comedian duo Laurel & Hardy.

Action

Since the burning neighbor the template for the later film " The block heads " was the plot is very close to this. That Stan nothing holds position 20 years, but does not appear in this film. He begins with Ollie Stan bringing them to be homecoming and vorschwärmt him of juicy steaks his wife. Background

  • The film was shot in the newly refurbished studio of Hal Roach.
  • The shooting took place mostly at night as during the day in the same studio held shooting of The Little Rascals, which had to be completed on time, however, by 17 clock.
  • When the movie came out, not yet possessed all the cinemas sound film projectors, why was played in some of the sound of vinyl records. For some other early sound films Laurel & Hardy's Roach was to make an additional silent versions.
  • As one of the ZDF series " Two gentlemen thick and stupid " edited the film in 1980, he was treated like a silent movie. Hanns Dieter Hüsch spoke while the narrator as well as the other people in the so-called " voice-over " method. The film was so Germanized not lip-sync.
