Unary operation
In mathematics, a unary operation ( unary or monadic operator) is a link with only one operand. For example, the logical negation is a unary link truth values , and squaring is a one-digit shortcut on the real numbers.
A one-digit shortcut on a set is nothing more than a self-map.
